Ben, I’m really enjoying getting back into your books a year or two after the Forgotten Legion trilogy.
Finished “Hannibal: Enemy…” this spring, then “Spartacus: Gladiator” last night.
I’ve got a lot of catching up to do!
I like your cliff hanger chapter endings that keep the book moving. I also like how you use a Latin term at the beginning of a sentence in italics, then a brief explanation right in the sentence.
Thanks for the great books!
Ben Kane says
@brendonlumgair: thanks for your message – I’m glad that you’re getting back into the books. Cheers for taking the time to drop me a line. Best wishes to you – Ben.

Was this the Battle of Iwo Cannae, by any chance?
Sorry, I know the competition is long over – just couldn’t resist being a smart arse 🙂
I have “Fields of Blood” on hold at the library – looking forward to it!
